why does salesforce.com go down so much?

Are you the owner of a competing web site disseminating white propaganda?
Either your internet service is going down or their servers are being beaten. Most likely it is them. Complain to their customer service. If it was down for a whole day, you should get some sort of payback for your troubles.
It souds as tho the server for the site, was not ready for the amount of traffic it recieved….
