hortonds asked: I want to create a salesforce to sell my product.
We hire Audio Visual equipment to businesses, Film and TV, individuals. I need a way to get people to recommend my company, and I will pay out on each new customer that hires from us. I’m thinking about a 10% of the first hire. This means that if they hire a projector from us, the referee gets £10.00, if they get us a conference whereby the spend is £3,000.00 the referee gets £300.00.
I want to know any ideas of how to go about doing this, and making it a fair and legal business.
I’d like to know if people would be excited by this.
We are based in London, UK.

zashi_kyoto asked: I work for a company that provides community web services to big companies: something like Salesforce.com.
I have been put in charge of coming up with ideas for training some big customers on a new program we are releasing.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some companies that have really effective online training materials? I personally like the yahoo answers format and would like to include that, but would be interested in any other suggestions you might have.
Sorry, I guess I wasn’t very clear with my question. I would like to see specific training strategies and materials that actual successful companies are using out there. We are probably going to write manuals, create a user community, knowledge base, training videos, webinars….
All this stuff we have done before and are doing. I would love to look at some new directions. That is why this yahoo answers is so interesting to me. One thing I would like to do is empower the users to help each other like this service. Maybe even allow then to add training videos like a youtube idea or chat together while using our applications.
I want to expand what we are doing and thought copying some best practices might be a good way to start branching out.

jet G asked: I’m a male in the earlt 30’s, working in a pharmaceutical company as a Dist. Sales Manager. I can sing well. But the management wanted me to sing every quarter of the year. I render song that inspires the peformers and the salesforce to excel. Any suggestion for a motivatinal song. Ooops! Please include the lyrics of the song or a sample midi file. In the past I already sung I Believe I can fly, Gold by Spandou Ballet. I love the song climb every mountain form the sounds of silence, it motivates me, but its some kind of outdated. I’m out of repertoire!

Brian M asked: I’m looking for a cheap web-based CRM solution that I and about 3 or 4 others can use for managing sponsorship / advertising relationships for a small club that I run. Something like Salesforce would be great, but I imagine that it is more than we want to spend. Any ideas? Thanks…
